Rameez MeeraSahib is Global CTO and Head of Big Data Analytics and AI Solutions business at Micro Focus. In this role, he heads the development of the new solutions based on Micro Focus Big Data Platforms – Vertica & IDOL. He also provides technology, strategy and thought leadership for big data analytics products. Rameez brings more than 17years of expertise in big data analytics, machine learning, and AI industry. Under his leadership, Micro Focus big data analytics and AI business translate complex customer business problems into an effective solution by leveraging data, advanced analytics, and machine learning technologies. His solution engineering, market, and product expertise spread across large scale business intelligence, enterprise data warehouse, real-time analytics, machine learning, IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things), artificial intelligence, prescriptive and predictive analytics. Rameez joined Micro Focus as part of the spin-merge with Hewlett Packard Enterprise software business. Previously, he led global corporate strategy for Thomson Reuters. Earlier in his career, Rameez held engineering, business strategy, product management, and technology consulting leadership positions at HP, GlaxoSmithKline, Autonomy Corporation and Wipro Technologies. Rameez graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication from MS University, India. He also holds an M.B.A from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, USA.
