Martin Kon is President Emeritus and a member of the Board of Directors at Cohere, the security-first enterprise AI company. Previously, as President & COO, Martin built and led Cohere’s strategic, commercial, financial, and operational functions as it evolved from its bold and pioneering research roots into the world’s leading Secure AI for Enterprise company. Prior to Cohere, Martin served as CFO of Google’s YouTube division where he led YouTube’s global strategy, finance, business operations, and commercial data analytics functions. Martin has also held senior leadership roles at BCG and Oliver Wyman, and has more than two decades of experience advising C-suite executives at companies around the US, Canada, and Europe, especially in tech, media, and telecoms. A US, Canadian, British, and German citizen, Martin holds a Bachelor’s of Commerce from McGill University and an MBA from Queen’s University.
